Covid-19 Support Payments

The second Covid Support Payment (CSP) is now open to be applied for via the IRD website.

The CSPs are three fortnightly payments which are available to apply for, if your viable business has experienced a drop of 40% (or more) in revenue as a direct result of Covid-19. For example, your business is not able to operate at capacity due to staff needing to isolate, supply chain issues or having less foot traffic from the trend of people working from home or isolating.

These are the three time periods you can apply for funding for:
First Payment:16 February 2022 – 4 April 2022 (APPLICATIONS OPENED 16^th Feb)
Second Payment: 7 March – 4 April 2022 (APPLICATIONS OPEN 14^th March)
Third Payment: 21 March – 4 April 2022 (APPLICATIONS OPEN 28^th March)

All applications must be received by the 5^thMay 2022 to qualify.

The Leave Support Payment scheme is also currently available for employers to assist with wages for employees if they need to self-isolate due to Covid-19. An employee is eligible if they have been required to self-isolate for at least 4 consecutive days and cannot work from home.

The payments available are as follows:

$600 for full-time workers who were working 20 hours or more a week
$359 for part-time workers who were working less than 20 hours a week
