Carys Burkhardt

A born and bred Whangarei local, Carys left our beautiful region temporarily to complete her studies
at Waikato University before finding that Northland was drawing her home. Since her return, with a
Bachelor of Business Analysis in Accounting and a Graduate Diploma in Finance, Carys has spent the
past 5 years working as an accountant for Whangarei based firms. Carys holds the same values as
the rest of the Villa team, with a passion for educating clients in understanding the numbers side of
their business, and striving to help them achieve business success.

As an owner of a small business herself, Carys understands that starting a new business can be
overwhelming. She also appreciates that the financial side of building a business is not everyone’s
cup of tea, so Carys focuses on helping clients understand what the numbers really mean.

Outside of her Villa work, Carys enjoys exploring Northland’s amazing outdoors, playing netball and
running Luna Espresso with her partner.
